We set off in the sunshine this morning and headed up to Stone. On the way we passed steam narrowboat Radnor.
Lovely smell as it went past!
The sky behind looks rather dark - that was where we were heading. We had a few drops of rain during the morning, but it didn't come to anything. Until about 4 o'clock, that is, well after we'd tied up on the last (48 hr) mooring below Star Lock (immediately in front of Jim Shead). At least, that's what the boat says. It's only been on-off showers, though. We're promised heavier rain tonight.
After tea on board we cycled up the towpath to the Borehole pub by the Lymehouse brewery for our second visit. I do like the Stone the Crows ale.
