A narrowboat in Aylsham (which will suit someone to a T)

We went for a walk in Heydon in Norfolk today with Adrian and Willie. It was mostly excellent: the only let-downs were that the tea room wasn't open owing to staff shortage, and the pub - the fall-back option - wasn't doing food today. (More about the walk in a later post.) So for lunch we went to Aylsham and the Black Boys Inn.

Its claim to fame is that Nelson danced there!

In the window of a tea room (also closed) in the town was this narrowboat teapot. On very choppy water, by the look of it.

The signwriting reads "Carters Teapot Company - British Waterways".

That T Boat is sooooo sweet. Love it! Interesting piece of background information too.
