Oh John, it's far too difficult for me. In any event, I'm just dropping in to thank you for giving me continued great reading over the last year. I don't have so much time for blogging as I used to, but whenever I want to have a good read, your is one of the first I visit. Val, thank you. I like to think that, although I might not write as interestingly as some other bloggers, I do make a contribution in my own small way. (Self denigration is a difficult habit to escape!) I trust you're enjoying Christmas over there in the Netherlands.
I find your posts very interesting, John, so self denigration is absolutely not needed :) It's been a very good Christmas over here although I'm praying for some sunshine...somewhere..eventually....
