Unusual flowerpots

What is it with a Derbyshire village and planting flowers in kitchen equipment?

Here's a Flavell Vanessa cooker - the same model as the one in our old caravan - with what looks like potatoes growing on the open oven door. A kettle on the hob is planted with flowers.

Down the road is a sink - can you see the taps? - with a profusion of plant life spilling out.

This is in Middleton-by-Wirksworth, where we spent a few days on holiday.

Speaking of holidays, we have a week on Shadow coming up. Not yet sure where we'll go (starting and finishing at Wigram's Turn).
