On our way to Crick from Foxton the blackthorn (?) blossom and the cow parsley were out in force.
We tied up, retrieved the car and drove to Wolverton where we stayed the night with Ally, Ben and Josiah. The next day we went home to mow the lawn etc., returning to the boat on Friday.

I just love this period when the May blossom (yes it is Hawthorne) and Cow Parsley are out together, it really lifts my soul. This year we think it is even lusher than usual, pity it lasts such a short time but we were so pleased we were able to fit in a short cruise while it was at its best.
Hope you are having a good time at Crick, we do miss being there.
