Shortly after lighting the stove on Shadow a week ago the stove glass cracked. Grr. It looked like it had been only just fitted as part of the winter maintenance.
I didn't go overboard, as it were, with cleaning it as BCBM said they would replace it.
Again.

This has happened to me twice. I think a too rapid warming on a boat not used during a spell of cold weather was to blame both times. At least you got it replaced - I ended up buying a complete new door!
Yes, that's what BCBM said. But how do you warm up a fire slowly? Breath on it gently for a while?
