And, yes, two of you, namely Kevin and Ross, aka Bert, correctly identified it as a grating over a ventilation shaft, but Kevin wondered if it was a reflection. Well, it wasn't. I pointed the camera up the shaft and clicked.

Ah, I could have said that much yesterday but I thought you wanted to know which tunnel then... I think it's... One I haven't been in yet! As it doesn't look at all familiar. But go on, I'll have a guess. Harecastle (which I have been in)?
No, it's not Harecastle. I'm not even sure Harecastle has any vertical shafts - isn't that why it's force-ventilated with the giant extractor fan at the south portal?

All right, that's left you flummoxed. Here's another clue: the tunnel is on a part of the system which is no longer a through route.
