One of the drawbacks of summer cruising...

... if you have to come back to a lawn that hasn't been mown for a while: wild flowers where there should be greensward.


This was our garden when we returned from our (wet) two week cruise on north west waterways. More dandelions than grass.

And this is how tall they had grown.


It doesn't look like that now.
