Moonshot

I took some pics of the full moon yesterday towards the end of an afternoon walk. There were several birds taking off from the trees and flying in front of the moon - I managed to press the button at about the right time here.
From Market Drayton we walked to Almington, then Peatswood and back, about four miles in all.
I liked the pattern of stalks in the snow. Maize?
So ... as from midnight tonight Shropshire goes up to Tier 3 - and is surrounded by Tier 4 areas. It won't make much difference to us as we've been avoiding restaurants and most shops.

Snow on the Shroppie

Proper snow here in Market Drayton this morning - so I had to get some photos.
A belated Happy Christmas to you ... and I shall try to be more active on the blog in 2021.

Tyrley Locks

I'm still here - it's just that we have done so little boating this year that the blog has fallen by the wayside. Here's a photo I took last week of Tyrley Bottom Lock.
