I assume Diamond was on its way to the Shackerstone Family Festival when I spotted it on the Ashby Canal a couple of months ago.
Or is it still in use as a contractor's maintenance vessel?

It is still working, was being used in the offside bank repairs near bridge 14 and down towards 13. A huge improvement that has been needed for as long as I can remember.
Thanks Andy. If I'd looked at the next few photos I took that day I'd have seen more craft with A. & R. Rothen & Sons on them. Diamond looks like a historic boat in its own right, though.
The registration number beginning 511 suggests it's newer than Briar Rose.
