Is it music?
Well, yes. The music of birdsong. This is Jan on hearing the first cuckoo in Spring. I heard it too. The first of the year ... and I haven't heard one since. Where have all the cuckoos gone? Are the other birds fighting back?
(You're right, I'm milking our towpath walk along the Stratford Canal for all that it's worth!)
