On the Oxford Canal just south of Duke's Cut we passed this narrowboat with a wooden pyramidical frame perched on its roof.
What is it for? I have no idea.
On the way back I noticed the unusual side hatches, made in the shape of a pentagon and a circle. How strange!

It was a bit blowy over night with lots of rattling on the roof, but
everything was still where it was left when I looked out this morning. I
don’t know ...

The side hatches are cool; I have been past that boat a number of times; and always wondered what the wooden thing on the top is, it seems to be just slightly narrower than the roof; but not attached in any way.
Could it be a solar panel easel?
Is it a stand for a rotary washing line - I've seen similar on boat roofs but usually with guys ropes attached to prevent levitation!

Very strange doors and windows. Looks as if the owner is into celtic style imagery.
