Top Twenty, 2009 week 6

This is the fourth week of Tony Blews's UK Waterways Site Ranking. There has been no change from last week in the top six positions, with Jim Shead's Waterways Information at number 1. The two new entries into the top twenty include Ken Fairhurst's UK Canals Network, jumping into the number 9 slot. Other notable movements are James and Amy's Lucky Duck, rising six places to number 7; and UK Waterways Ranking Site dropping nine to 18. Perhaps the novelty is beginning to wear off. Your scribe has sunk to number 28 of the 55 sites listed. This snapshot was taken at 0920 on 1st February 2009.

Hi Halfie,

Just thought I'd let you know the detailed weekly report on the juggling about in the top 20 is quite fascinating!
This could be the beginnings of a successful career in statistical analysis...

Hmm... there's not really a huge amount of analysing going on, but I'm glad you find it interesting! I used to listen to the charts on Radio 1 in the early 1970s - and I used to write them down on scraps of paper! Not a lot of point, really, as there are books with it all in. And the bits of paper vanished long ago. This might be useful in years to come (!) as a record, and at least it makes one post a week straightforward!

Well here's a bit of juicy news, we all appear to have one place further down than we are showing on our blogs (sounds complex I know).

Check it out, right now you're ranked 30 on your blog, but go to the site & you're actually 29.

Same for me too, haven't checked but I guess we're all in the same boat, (excuse TERRIBLE pun...!

That's indeed interesting! I've checked a few: you are 25 as is Contented Souls; and there's no number 24 or 26! When I have a bit more time I'll ask Tony what's going on.
