Stoke Bruerne to Milton Keynes

We had lots of time in hand so we made an unusually late start. Got under way at 1200, straight into the Stoke Bruerne flight. At the bottom we tied up to take on water and eat lunch. Jan cooked up sausages, mash, mushrooms and baked beans. We next stopped at Cosgrove to clean the boat. We washed the roof, sides, gunwhales, most of the rear deck, and the windows. Placed Fred, our tree stump mascot, in the hedge and said goodbye to him.

At 2020 we moored at New Bradwell in Milton Keynes, just before the aqueduct. David did a lot of packing as he's leaving first thing in the morning.
